NACCHO is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all conference attendees and staff. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, NACCHO staff, service providers, and others are expected to abide by this Meeting Safety & Responsibility Policy. This policy applies to all NACCHO Annual-related events, including those sponsored by organizations other than NACCHO but held in conjunction with NACCHO Annual events, in public or private facilities.

Responsible Drinking
Alcoholic beverages may be available at certain conference events. NACCHO expects all attendees to drink responsibly. NACCHO Annual event staff have the right to deny service to participants for any reason, and may require a participant to leave the event.

Personal Safety and Security
NACCHO is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment at its conference and events by working with venue staff to make sure participants are safe. Attendees should report any questionable or concerning activity to NACCHO Annual staff. If there is an emergency or if you need immediate assistance, ask a NACCHO Annual staff member or on-site security personnel to assist you.

Unacceptable Behavior
NACCHO has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment; physical or verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, ASAE staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest; and disruption of presentations at sessions. If you experience harassment or hear of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, please contact Chandra Champion at cchampion@naccho.org or (202) 507-4245.

NACCHO reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the conference without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior. NACCHO reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting.
